Join the Costessey & District Community Shed
Are you looking for a friendly place to share skills, learn new ones, or just meet people and enjoy a cuppa? The Costessey & District Community Shed welcomes new members from all backgrounds and skill levels. Everyone aged 18 and over is welcome—no experience or tools needed, just an enthusiasm to get involved!
Who Can Join?
Our Shed is an inclusive space, open to any adult over 18 who wants to participate positively in our activities. Whether you’re handy with tools, want to work on personal projects, or simply enjoy socialising, there’s a place for you here. Many members join to reduce feelings of loneliness, share their experiences, or just enjoy the camaraderie of group activities.
Where and When Do We Meet?
Location: 16th Norwich (Costessey) Sea Scouts, 19 The Street, Costessey, NR8 5DB
Social Evenings: Tuesdays at The Bush Pub, The Street
Project Sessions: Thursdays and/or Fridays, 12:00–15:00 (times may vary—please call Andy on 07738 427476 to check)

What Does Membership Cost?
Annual Membership is just £20 per year (from 1st November 2025). This covers all “social only” members and supports our running costs.
Workshop Access:
As we develop our workshop facilities, we plan to introduce a monthly subscription for members who wish to make full use of the tools and workshops for personal or group projects. Social-only members can continue with just the annual subscription.
We want everyone to be able to join—if the fees are difficult for you, please let us know. We’re happy to discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
